As a few of you may remember, last year the Dirty Crew decided to do things differently for the festive season. Instead of sending out cards & gifts to our clients & friends we matched our sister company Maykher with their generous Christmas donation to two social programmes in Guatemala & Haiti.

Year 6 – London Baby!
Wow, where does the time go? It only feels like yesterday that the team were picking up the keys to our first Cardiff office after our relocation from Newport. Though, it feels like a lifetime ago that Heidi & Jon left the Big Smoke to setup shop in the conservatory of Mama Griff’s house trying to launch a creative agency on a shoestring budget.

One Hell of a Season!

PredictorBet – Educated Betting
We’ve been working with the prediction betting company, PredictorBet for a year now and we are continually excited by what they’re working to achieve. They’re playful, enthusiastic and great at what they do, so we’re extremely happy to be part of their extended marketing team!

We heart Lisboa
At heart, the Dirty Crew are explorers, in fact the Dirty Little Serifs concept was born on the beaches of the Samui Archipelago. We are explorers not just as travellers but as creative souls searching for ideas, and as entrepreneurs on our business journey. We believe wholeheartedly that travel and experiences enrich our lives, increase our general knowledge and inspire us to be better designers. So, when we can, we try to squeeze a trip in to recharge our batteries, reflect and gain fresh perspectives.
Sledgers AW17/18 Photoshoot
You might have read our previous blog on our SS17 Photoshoot for Sledgers which took us on a 3 day trip to Paris. The AW17/18 shoot took us to the beautiful Cotswolds in England where we captured the Sledgers product set within some country interiors. Think roaring open fires and warm textures, and some quintessential British countryside. Perfectly complementing the mix of classic and contemporary styles, and the great quality that the brand’s footwear is know for.
Christian Malcolm – Website Design
As much as we love to create fantastic brands, the Dirty Crew always enjoy getting stuck into designing a website.

For the Love of Lettering
Whether you have a love of ligatures, admire the craft of kerning, or perhaps (like many) didn’t even know typeface design existed, we all come across letterforms everyday of our lives. Usually, these will be meticulously created typefaces found in print and, more often now, on screens.
The Devil is in the detail
Dirty Little Serifs are excited and proud to announce that we will once again be one of the Cardiff Devils’ Corporate Partners for the forthcoming 2017/2018 season. We were welcomed into the Devils Family back in 2015 and have remained supporters (fanatics) ever since. Sledgers SS17 Photoshoot
We love to build and work with great brands and sometimes doing this takes us on some brilliant adventures and supports some exciting projects, last summer our work took us to Paris. We’d had worked with Sledgers for some time prior, helping them to re-define and re-launch their heritage brand (view the Sledgers case study here) and we had previously managed the Creative Direction and Styling of their Autumn Winter 16 photoshoot, so when they called us to direct their Spring Summer 17 photoshoot we jumped at the chance.
