The Dirty Little Serifs mantra is to produce creative and strategy for groundbreaking brands, and PredictorBet perfectly fit that bill. We’re not fans of throwing around the term “disrupt” as it’s immensely overused, however, PredictorBet truly are disrupting the sports betting industry.

Due to our love of Ice Hockey and the Cardiff Devils, the PB team approached us with a blank canvas and the key objective of having their new concept’s branding & advertising in place ready for the Elite Ice Hockey League’s 2018 Playoffs. PredictorBet were going to be the headline sponsors for what is now known as the PredictorBet Playoffs and we had the challenge to carve out a niche for a new brand in an already crowded market. The Dirty Crew knew that the PredictorBet brand would need to be impactful, adaptable and robust enough for international growth, so we got stuck straight into research and the key pillars of building a successful brand. The brand’s Purpose, Values, Vision, Story, Essence, Promise and Voice all needed to be established before the ideas generation for the PredictorBet brand identity concepts started.

Our thorough approach rendered a result that the client loved and gave the DLS team fantastic building blocks to create engaging visuals that would ramp up PredictorBet’s brand awareness to their target audience. We held brand & marketing strategy workshops at Ice Arena Wales (Viola Arena) with the PB team to generate marketing ideas and plot out the next steps, in order to get maximum exposure on their roadshows leading up to the event and during the PredictorBet Playoffs. With the new awareness and audience for the brand, it provided a great platform before the kick off of the FIFA World Cup 2018.

Working with the PredictorBet team has been an absolute pleasure and they have allowed the Dirty Crew to flex our creative and strategic muscles across a breadth of projects with deliverables such as; marketing strategy, brand guardianship, design for print, outdoor and online advertising, copywriting, as well as one of our favourite pieces, the PredictorBet logo ident.

We cannot wait for what the future holds for this amazing brand and we look forward to stepping up to the plate to bat a few new marketing ideas for the next PredictorBet Playoffs and the Rugby World Cup.
