‘Tis the season for giving!

As a few of you may remember, last year the Dirty Crew decided to do things differently for the festive season. Instead of sending out cards & gifts to our clients & friends we matched our sister company Maykher with their generous Christmas donation to two social programmes in Guatemala & Haiti.

Both programmes were a big success! In Haiti, we were able to support their leadership programme by providing the reading resource materials that help to empower their artisans to develop their own sustainable enterprises. In Guatemala, our donation contributed to supporting Maykher get their first girl, Irma, into school. If you follow Maykher’s story, you will know how well Irma is doing in her studies, with a 84% average across all her subjects. You can read more about Irma and her report card on the Maykher blog.

So, it’s that time of year again and the DLS team want to make our donation a Christmas tradition. This year we will be matching Maykher’s donation again, though the whole amount raised will be going to the Guatemalan social programme to getting more girls into education. The contribution will help continue funding Irma’s studies and we’re hoping will help get Maykher’s second girl into education.

We want to thank all of our clients, friends and family for supporting us throughout 2018, we struggle to put into words how much it means to us. We wish you all and your families a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS, we hope you all have an amazing time over the holidays and here’s to a prosperous 2019!
