The Christian Malcolm Sports Academy is aimed at giving young people the opportunity to maximize their potential in sport and is a way of giving something back to local communities. Christian Malcolm’s experience as a professional athlete, the technical lead for Team GB 4x100m relays and Disability Sport Wales has driven him to share his expertise through the Christian Malcolm Sports Academy.

After a successful career as a professional athlete, Christian retired in June 2014 and began his career as a coach, which has gone from strength to strength with huge coaching wins in 2017 with the Men’s 4x100m Relay team picking up Gold medals and the Women’s 4x100m Relay team picking up Silver medals at the World Championships. Also, not forgetting, Christian won the BBC Sports Personality of the Year 2017 Coach Award along with Benke Blomkvist & Stephen Maguire.
With the massive success of Christian and his team, the Sports Academy has become in high demand and needed a website as the only online digital presence they had was on Facebook. Dirty Little Serifs were ecstatic to be invited to join the team to help design and develop a sharp, clear and impactful website that would enhance the Sports Academy’s brand, while driving and streamlining their current booking system to be online and automated.
The Sports Academy wanted a website designed that was visually engaging, device responsive and an easy-to-use user experience for the customers, while the team could quickly and effortlessly make content changes in the back-end of the website. All tracks seem to point perfectly to WordPress as the correct solution for Content Management System with EventBrite being integrated into the site for the user-friendly booking system.
